New Members: If you are interested in applying for membership for any of the sections, please use the form below:
Section Ages: Beavers (age 6 to 8) Cubs (age 9 to 11) Scouts (Age 12 to 15/16) Ventures (Age 16 to 17) Rovers ( Age 18 to 25).
Beavers must be six years old before August 31st of the year they can start etc.
Generally, we consider applications for membership each Spring in advance of September, should we have spaces.
If you are interested in a place for your child/children, one parent per family will have to join as a leader and be available on a weekly basis for hall sessions, weekend activities and annual camps. All training will be provided and undertaken before a place will be available for your child.
Please note, every adult member of Scouting Ireland must be Garda vetted. Full details of being a Scouter are available here
JAN 2024 Update – We have now started taking applications for new members for 2024. The youngest starting age of youth members is 6 years of age before 31st of August 2024.
Generally our intake is at the beginning of each section i.e. age 6 for Beavers and age 9 for Cubs with places for other ages becoming available occasionally.
Please complete the form below, and watch this page for updates. You will be contacted in March to follow up on your application for adult membership.
Lastly, due to GDPR regulations, we cannot carry forward our waiting list. So, each January we start a new list. Please be aware that your current application applies to the current year, so remember to reapply in January of the new year, if you are not successful this year. If you have been successful and you have more than one child, they must also be added to the application process each year, although family members will get priority.
